6.8 RSS Application

Displays an RSS feed.

Preparation

  • You must have a connection with the internet using Wi-Fi. See Wi-Fi Setup.
  • You can use a user account when you have logged in the Owner or User.

  1. Press the <HOME> button.
  2. Touch [ btn_launcherList.png ] in the Network contents panel.
  3. Touch [ icon_app_rss.png (RSS)].
  4. Perform desired operation as follows.

    1 Buttons

    icon_add.png : Adds an RSS feed. See Add RSS feed

    icon_tts_all.png : Reads out all articles by voice.

    icon_return.png : Terminates the application.

    2 Category

    Select the RSS feed to be displayed.

    3 Article list

    Display the article.

    Touching this displays details.

    While the latest information is displayed at the top, sliding the list down updates the information.

    1 Buttons

    icon_bookmark.png : Registers the RSS feed in the bookmark. Deletes the RSS feed if it has already been registered.

    icon_tts.png : Reads the content by voice.

  1. Press the <MENU> button.

    Delete an RSS feed. See Delete RSS feed

    Setting

    Set the update interval. See RSS setup

Add RSS feed

Add an RSS feed.

  1. Touch [ icon_add.png ] in the RSS application.
  2. Select a category.

Performs setup when using RSS Application.

  1. Press the <MENU> button.
  2. Touch [Setting] in the Menu.
  3. Select an option as follows.

    Set the information update interval.
