6.7 SNS Application

Displays the screen for using Facebook, Twitter, and Gmail.

Preparation

  • You must have a connection with the internet using Wi-Fi. See Wi-Fi Setup.
  • To use a Google, Facebook or Twitter service, the corresponding account is required.
  • You can use a user account when you have logged in the Owner or User.

Start the SNS Application

  1. Press the <HOME> button.
  2. Touch [ btn_launcherList.png ] in the Network contents panel.
  3. Touch [ icon_app_sns.png SNS].

Register an account

Facebook

  1. Touch [ icon_app_facebook.png (Facebook)].
  2. Touch [Sign in].
  3. Input the Email address/Phone and Password.

  4. Touch [Log in].

Twitter

  1. Touch [ icon_app_twitter.png (Twitter)].
  2. Touch [Sign in].
  3. Input the Username/email and Password.

  4. Touch [Authorize app].

Gmail

  1. Touch [ icon_app_gmail.png (mail)].
  2. Touch [Sign in].
  3. Touch [Gmail].
  4. Input the Email and Password.

  5. Touch [Next].

NOTE

  • You can register Email (IMAP). Select [Other] in step 3, and enter necessary data according to the displayed messages.

SNS Operation

  1. Press the <HOME> button.
  2. Touch [ btn_launcherList.png ] in the Network contents panel.
  3. Touch [ icon_app_sns.png SNS].
  4. Perform desired operation as follows.

    1 Buttons

    icon_add.png : Create a new article.

    icon_here.png : Posting the current place.

    icon_tts_all.png : Reads out all articles by voice.

    icon_return.png : Terminates the application.

    2 Category

    Select a category to display.

    3 Article list

    Displays an article or message.

    Touching this displays details.

    While the latest information is displayed at the top, sliding the list down updates the information.

    icon_ThumbsUp.png : Votes as “Like”.

    icon_comment.png : Posts a comment.

    2 Buttons

    FB_icon_2.png : Deletes an article. When the confirmation screen appears, touch “Ok”.

    icon_tts.png : Reads the content of the comment by voice.

    icon_favorite.png : Adds to Favorites.

    icon_gmail_replyall.png : Creates a reply mail for all.

    icon_gmail_forward.png : Creates a forwarded mail.

    2 Buttons

    FB_icon_2.png : Deletes an article. When the confirmation screen appears, touch “Ok”.

    icon_tts.png : Reads the content of the comment by voice.

Menu

  1. Press the <MENU> button.

    Setting

    Set an update interval.

    Sign out (Facebook, Twitter)

    Logs out from the current account.

    Account (Gmail)

    Select the account and label to be displayed.

    1 Select an account.

    2 Select a label.

    Add account (Gmail)

    Register a new account.

    Delete account (Gmail)

    Delete a registered account.

    Select the account to delete by putting a checkmark, and then touch [OK].

Add to post

Create an article to be posted to the SNS service of the selected category.

  1. Touch [ icon_add.png ] in the SNS application.
  2. Create an article to post.

    icon_stt.png : Enter a comment using the voice recognition function. When “Speak now” appears, speak the comment.

    [Post] : Posts the article.

    [Add Cc/Bcc] : Displays cc and Bcc.
