16.8 Channel Lock (Parental Lock)

You can turn on/off Channel Lock for each channel.

Preparation :

  1. Press the volume knob to enter Function mode.

    "FUNCTION" appears.

  2. Turn the volume knob to select SETTINGS, then press the knob.
  3. Turn the volume knob to select CHANNEL LOCK, then press the knob.

    "ENTER CODE" appears.

  4. Turn the volume knob to select the number.
  5. Press the volume knob.
  6. Turn the volume knob to select CHANNEL EDIT, then press the knob.
  7. Turn the volume knob to select a category, then press the knob.
  8. Turn the volume knob to select a channel, then press the knob.

    The selected channel lock setting is turned on and off alternately each time you press the volume knob.

    "L" is indicated for the selected channel number.

    "X" is indicated for the channel that cannot be locked.

  9. Press and hold [6] to exit.

Deleting all channel lock settings

  1. Operate the above-described steps 1-5.
  2. Turn the volume knob to select CHANNEL CLEAR, then press the knob.
  3. Turn the volume knob to select YES, then press the knob.

Listening to the locked channel

  1. When you select a locked channel, "CH LOCKED"Á"LOCK CODE" appears.
  2. Turn the volume knob to select the number.
  3. Press the volume knob.
