Preparation

  1. Download Mirroring App from the (Apple) App Store or Google Play.
  2. Install the latest version of the Mirroring application “CarbitLinkｰEasyConnection” on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
  3. Depending on your device, set the iPhone Connection Mode or the Android Phone Connection Mode to Mirroring. See Input Setup.
  4. Use USB cable to connect mobile phone or Use phone to scan the QR Code in CarbitLink App to establish a wireless connection.

NOTE

  1. Go to the CarbitLinkｰEasyConnection web page on the App Store or Google Play to confirm compatibility.
  2. This application is not provided by JVCKENWOOD.
  3. JVCKENWOOD is not liable for any damages incurred by the customer in connection with the use of the application, except in cases where such damages are caused by JVCKENWOOD's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Mirroring Operation

  1. Press the / button.
  2. HOME screen appears.
  3. Touch .
  4. Touch [Mirroring].
  5. The App screen is displayed.
  6. Operate your iPhone or Android smartphone to activate the Mirroring function, then connect to this unit.
  7. Select "DMX7509XS" as the network to use.
  8. When the connection is established, then the same screen displayed on the phone is displayed.

NOTE

  1. You can use the Mirroring function with phones compatible with this function.
  2. The settings on your phone differ depending on the device type. For details, refer to the instruction manual supplied with your phone.
  3. If your phone is locked, Mirroring screen may not appear.
  4. Apps is discontinued when the power is turned ON/OFF or you leave the vehicle. To restart Apps, operate the Android smartphone.
  5. When the Apps source is displayed, you cannot register or reconnect a Bluetooth device. Switch the Apps source to another source, and then operate the Bluetooth device.
