Radio Basic Operation
Most functions can be controlled from the source control screen. To listen to the Radio source, touch [Radio] icon on the source selection screen.
Control screen
1 Radio frequency
- Display radio frequency.
- Touch to pause/output radio sound.
2 Band keys
Switches bands (between FM and AM).
3 Indicator Items
- Preset # : The channel number in the preset radio station list.
- AUTO1, AUTO2, MANU: SEEK mode
- MONO: Displayed when the MONO switch is on (can be selected to reduce background noise when the stereo signal is poor).
- TI: Indicates the reception state of traffic information. Displayed when the TI switch is on.
- AF: Displayed when the AF switch is on.
- Local: Displayed when the Local switch is on.
4 Information display
Displays the name and information of the current station.
5 DSP
Touch to display the EQ/SW Level screen.
6 Tune
Touch to tune in a station.
The method of switching frequencies can be changed (see 8 Seek mode).
7 Auto memory (AME)
Search for the best signal radio station in the current band and store it in the preset radio station list.
8 Seek
Touch to switch seek mode in the following sequence: [AUTO1], [AUTO2], [MANUAL].
- [AUTO1]: Tunes in a station with good reception automatically.
- [AUTO2]: Tunes in the memorized stations one after another.
- [MANUAL]: Switches to the next frequency manually.
9 Radio List
Enter Radio List interface.
- [Preset]: Recalls the memorized station.
- [PTY]: Searches for a program by program type.
10 More buttons
Touch to pop up more buttons:
- [Settings]: Touch to pop up the RDS settings interface. For details, see Settings.
- [Add Station]: Touch to pop up the manual input frequency keyboard.
