About the Mood Analysis

You can extract characteristics such as beat and balance from songs, analyze them, and classify songs into 13 categories with genre information added. At this time, you can also analyze hook-line positions.
By specifying a type of mood, you can listen to your favorite songs.

Mood		Description
Acoustic		Gentle song comprising relatively weak tones
	Detailed	Piano solo, quiet classical music, etc.
	Simple	Folk music played by a few instruments
	Smooth	Mature jazz
	Easy	Slow ballad
Standard		Standard rock and pops music with a feeling of rhythm
	Dynamic	Big-beat jazz played by a big band
	Rockin	Classic rock
	Vivid	Pop and rock'n roll with a good beat
Stylistic		Technopop and songs played using electronic instruments
	Cool	Ambient techno
	Urban	Dance and bossa nova
	Trance	Techno music such as trance and Drum'n'Bass
High Energy		Energetic and Loud
	Active	Rap and hip-hop
	Powerful	Distorted music such as hard rock
	Core	Punk and Metal
Unclassifiable		Song that cannot be classified or analyzed

Note

Songs shorter than 20 seconds cannot be analyzed.

Analyzing Moods of Songs

Analyzing All Songs

1. Tap on [ ] to display the Slide menu.

2. Tap on [Preference ].

3. Check [Background analysis].

Note

• If the remaining battery capacity is reduced below 20%, the background analysis is interrupted.
• If you want to stop the analysis, uncheck [Background analysis]. You can resume the analysis by checking it again.

Specifying the Song You Want to Analyze

1. Display the song subject to the mood analysis on the List screen.

2. Touch and hold the song name to display a menu.

3. Tap on [Analyze this song].

Notes

• If you checkmarked [Background analysis], you cannot conduct the mood analysis from the List screen. →Settings
• You can also conduct a mood analysis from the menu displayed when you press the phone's Menu button.
• <Specifying the Song You Want to Analyze> method enables more detailed analysis than <Analyzing All Songs> method.

Selecting a Song According to the Mood

1. Tap on on the List screen.

2. Tap on Moods Detailed mood Song name.

   Songs will be played, beginning with the selected song.
