Digital Radio Basic Operation
Most functions can be controlled from the source control screen.
To listen to Digital Radio source, touch [Digital Radio] icon on the source selection screen.
Control screen
1 Digital Radio channel number
- Display channel number.
- Touch to pause/output radio sound.
2 Indicator items
- Preset # : Preset number.
- AUTO1, AUTO2, MANU: SEEK mode
3 Information display
Displays the information on the current station:
Ensemble name, Service Name, Song Title, Artist Name, DLS
4 DSP
Touch to display the EQ/SW Level screen.
5 Tune
Touch to tune in an ensemble, service, and component.
The seek mode witching can be changed. (see 7 Seek mode).
6 Search
Displays the Service List screen. For details on search operation, see Service search.
7 Seek
Touch to switch seek mode in the following sequence: [AUTO1], [AUTO2], [MANU].
- [AUTO1]: Tunes in a ensemble with good reception automatically.
- [AUTO2]: Tunes in the memorized stations one after another.
- [MANU]: Switches to the next ensemble manually.
8 Digital Radio List
Enter Digital Radio List interface.
- [Preset]: Recalls the memorized service.
- When touched for 2 seconds, stores the currently being received service in the memory.
- [PTY]: Searches for a program by program type. For details, see Search by program type .
