Wired connection

Preparation

  1. Connect an iPhone with the connection cable (optional accessory) while Apple CarPlay is not connected.
  2. With an iPhone compatible with Apple CarPlay, turn off Apple CarPlay by operating the iPhone at functional setup before connecting iPhone. For details of the setup method, contact the manufacturer of the terminal.
  3. Plug the iPhone into the USB terminal with the connection cable (optional accessory).
  4. Only one iPhone can be connected.
  1. Connect the iPhone using the connection cable.
  2. Press the / button.
  3. HOME screen appears.
  4. Touch .
  5. Touch [iPhone].

To disconnect the iPhone connected with the cable:

  1. Detach the iPhone.

Bluetooth connection

Pair the iPhone through Bluetooth.

Preparation

  1. To connect an iPhone via Bluetooth, register it as a Bluetooth device and do the profile setting for the connection beforehand. See Register the Bluetooth device and Switch the connected device.
  2. Connect an iPhone via Bluetooth while Apple CarPlay and an iPhone are not connected via USB.
  3. With an iPhone compatible with Apple CarPlay, turn off Apple CarPlay by operating the iPhone at functional setup before connecting iPhone. For details of the setup method, contact the manufacturer of the terminal.
