Auto Adjustment for Time Alignment

Preparation

  1. Park the vehicle in a safe and quiet location before performing this operation.
  2. Make sure the microphone is connected and mounted in a location that is in close proximity to the driver before starting the measurement.
  3. A static sound will be emitted during measurement and gradually increase in volume until the process is completed. You may choose to exit the vehicle and close the doors while the auto adjustment is taking place. (Approx. 2 minutes)
  4. Note: If you are using an external amplifier with a Time Alignment function, complete the Time Alignment settings before starting the auto adjustment process.
  5. For best results of the auto adjustment of time alignment process:
  6. Perform the measurement in as quiet an environment as possible.
  7. Close all windows and doors.
  8. Turn off the air conditioner and blower fan.

    Press the HOME button.

    Touch at the top of the screen.
    Touch HOME on the popup menu.
  2. HOME screen appears.
  3. Touch .
  4. Touch [SETUP].
  5. SETUP Menu screen appears.
  6. Touch [Connection & AV].
  7. The Connection & AV settings menu appears.
  8. Touch [Speech Quality Adjust].
  9. A pop-up window appears.
  11. Touch [Time Alignment Auto Adjustment].
  12. A confirmation message appears. Touch [Yes] twice.
  13. After the second confirmation, the automatic adjustment will begin after 10 seconds.

    1. Completed: Automatic adjustment finished successfully.
    2. Failed: Automatic adjustment did not complete. Please retry in a quieter environment.
  15. Touch [Close].
  16. Restart the system.
  17. If the adjustment is successful, the Time Alignment values will be applied automatically after restart. The Echo Cancel Level will also be set to “1”.

NOTE

  1. You can cancel the automatic adjustment at any time by touching [Cancel].
