Connecting the external amplifiers and external AV device

  1. Secure the two ground wires together to the chassis of the main unit.
  2. Set “VIDEO IN” to “None” in Camera Assignment Settings. To set up the camera assignment settings
  3. Sold separately.
  4. Check the specifications for the optical digital audio cable and follow the minimum bending radius when running the wires.
  5. DMX1058XR/DAX1050XR/DAX800XR only

NOTE

  1. When connecting to an external amplifier, connect its ground wire to the car’s chassis to avoid damaging the unit.
  2. When not using the Preout (RCA terminals), keep the terminal caps on.
