System Configuration settings

  1. Touch [System Configuration] on the Initial SETUP screen.

[Fiber Optic Output] (DMX1058XR/DAX1050XR/DAX800XR only)

Set the output sampling frequency when using optical digital sound output.

1 Touch [Fiber Optic Output].

2 Select the output sampling frequency.
[OFF] (Default) / [48kHz] / [96kHz]

3 Touch .

Touch [Finish] and a message will appear. Touch [Yes] to restart and apply the settings.

[X'over Network]

Set X’over Network to either 2-way or 3-way.

1 Touch [X'over Network].

2 Read the message and press [Next].

3 Select the crossover network mode.
[2way] (Default) / [3way]

4 Touch [Yes].

# CAUTION

Connecting 3-way speakers with the 2-way mode selected can break the speakers.

NOTE

  1. When installing a 3-way speaker, make sure to always first run Initialize and go through the user setup. See System Setup.
  2. X’Over Network settings are disabled when the [Fiber Optic Output] is set to 48 kHz or 96 kHz.

[Built-In Amplifier]

Select whether to use the built-in power amplifier. Turning off the built-in amplifier improves the quality of the sound from Preout.
[ON] (Default) / [OFF]

[Installation Orientation]

Set whether the main unit is oriented vertically or horizontally.

1 Touch [Installation Orientation].

2 Select the orientation.
[Horizontal] (Default) / [Vertical]

3 Touch .

Touch [Finish] and a message will appear. Touch [Yes] to restart and apply the settings.
