User Interface Setup

You can setup user interface parameters.

  1. Press the HOME button.
  2. HOME screen appears.
  3. Touch .
  4. Touch [SETUP].
  5. SETUP Menu screen appears.
  6. Touch [User Interface].
  7. User Interface setting menu appears.
  8. Set each parameter as follows.

[Source Setup - Remote Control]

Select the sources to be switched with the remote controller. For how to operate the remote controller, see Remote control. Remote control (optional)

[Steering Remote Controller]

Sets the desired function in the steering remote controller. (Contact your KENWOOD dealer for details.)

[Beep] *1

Turn the key touch tone on or off.

Default is “ON”.

[Photo Frame Scroll]

Set the Photo Frame Scroll feature.

“ON“/“OFF“ (default)

[Vehicle Adaptor Information] *2

Displays the vehicle information.

This function requires a commercial adaptor. Consult your KENWOOD dealer for details.

[Beep for Parking distance control] *2

Sets whether to generate a warning tone when the onboard proximity sensor detects a human or object.

[Parking Distance Display] *2

You can display information about obstacles around the car.

  1. [ON]: Always displays information.
  2. [Dyn.] (Default): Displays information when the sensor detects obstacles.
  3. [OFF]: Cancels.

[Parking Distance Position] *2

Select where information about obstacles is displayed on the screen (left or right).

“Left”/”Right” (Default)

This function requires a commercial adaptor. Consult your KENWOOD dealer for details.

[Android Auto Screen Size Switching]

Turn the Android Auto Split selection feature on or off.

“ON“/“OFF“ (Default)

[Driving Position]

Select the driving position (left or right).

“Left” (Default)/“Right”

 

  1. To use the function, it is necessary to set [Fibre Optic Output] to [OFF], and to set [X'over Network] to [2way].
  2. This setting is available when a commercial adaptor is connected.
